XNet allows for compact, limited advanced automations that would otherwise not be possible, or extremely complicated causing potentially more lag then xnet itself would. Example: Draconic Fusion altar can have nearly all of it's recipes be automated (Besides the upgrades) using just a single altar and xnet.
XNet can also simplify the automations required for Botania's Runic altar. In Colony I had a set up for it, but it was big, complicated, and required the use of timings, which get messed up anytime the chunk reloads (Crashes, restarts, leaving the area & coming back). My design was self resetting, but with XNet I could easily make it be event driven. I could do that without XNet, but it would be needlessly large, complex and laggy.
